On July the 2nd, 2003, the members of the Jury of the First International Humour Cartoon Contest Peloduro 2002, composed by: Raquel Orzuj "ms. orzuj", Leslie Ricciardi "Leslie", Arq. Carlos Millot "Miyo", Antonio Dabezies (journalist, Director of the uruguayan humour Magazine "El Dedo" and "Guambia"), and Gabriel Mainero (historian, cartoon and humour collector) were called by the "Lolita Rubial" Foundation and the Museo del Humor y la Historieta - Julio E. Suarez "Peloduro".

After examining 482 works, that corresponded to 178 participants from 40 countries from 5 different continents, it has been decided:

1) To choose 149 works from 94 participants from 25 countries to be exhibited in the First International Humor Cartoon Salon Oscar Abin "Gaucher".

2) To give the following Prizes and Honourable Mentions: International Grand Prize, Second International Prize, seven International Honourable Mentions, National Grand Prize, Second National Prize and three National Honourable Mentions.
